About Us

Stone Studio Limited is a privately owned fabrication and installation company operating in the South East of England. At Stone Studio we provide a full service to our customers that is rivaled by none and admired by other granite producing companies. Based in Hartfield in Sussex we produce all types of worktops and counter tops for kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms from granite, marble and quartz. Through long relationships with quarry owners we are supplied with only premium grade materials which we cut, polish and install into our customers homes.

All processing of stone is completed at our factory in Sussex by our in-house trained masons and installed at our customers homes using only our high trained installation teams.

Templating

Once your order and deposit is taken a member of our installation team will visit the site to make a full scale template of your worktops to check and agree overhangs, joints and position of sinks and hobs. Once completed we will check your choice of material with our samples, and once agreed we will then take the templates back to the factory for manufacturing.

Manufacturing

Your templates are laid out on a fresh slab of granite, quartz, marble or limestone depending on your choice, and marked out. The slab is then cut to the desired shape and polished. Once completed we will then lay out the templates over the cut sections to compare sizes and positions.

Installation

Installation normally takes a couple of hours depending on the complexity and size of each job, and is completed by a highly trained member of our installation team. We never use subcontractors or casual labour.

The deposit we take with each order is 50% with the balance due upon completion of the installation. During templating you will need to have the appliances that require fitting, such as hobs, sinks and taps, on-site. Failure to have these on-site during the templating could cause delays and may even require a further template which will be charged for. The time from templating to complete installation is between 10 to 14 days.
