Floor Restoration, Maintenance, Cleaning & Polishing

We offer a wide range of services to maintain and prolong the life of your Marble, Limestone, Granite and other natural stone surfaces.

Repairs

Cracks, chips and holes can be repaired using a colour match epoxy resin, to match existing surface as closely as possible.

Maintenance

Where edges of tiles or slabs are not at the same level with each other, or for removing deep scratches, diamond discs are used across the floor surface to produce a deep shine. This is a dust-free process.

Tile & Stone Slab Replacement

Damaged or broken tiles and natural stone can be sourced and replaced with new.

Re-grouting

Removal and cutting out of existing grout joints and replacement of new grout.

Anti-slip

Resin and adhesive safety anti-slip treads are applied (interior or exterior).

Scratch Removal

To remove individual scratch marks from a stone surface, a hand held machine and different grades of pads is used. Success of this method depends on the depth of the scratch.

Honing

For surface scratches and etch marks, medium and fine abrasives are used and the floor surface is lightly sanded back to produce a matt finish.

Cleaning

General removal of spillages, minor etch marks, paint, glue, tape residue and minor surface staining.

Polishing

For light surface staining, very slight scratches, “tired” looking floors, etc. We grind away the worn surface, so that fresh stone appears. You can choose a high gloss finish, micro finish, or satin matt – these finishes can be obtained by polishing/grinding the floor so finely that it becomes shiny without any treatment.

Polishing (crystallisation)

This method forms a thin film of micro crystals to produce a much harder wearing, easier to clean surface. A solution is applied, we then polish with a machine using steel wool to bring to a shiny finish.

Stain Removal

A special poultice is applied to remove deep staining.

Stripping

Existing wax, solvent or acrylic based polishes are removed from stone surface.

Sealing

To repel and slow down absorption of spillages into the stone, a below the surface impregnator is applied.
