Stone Inlay Service
The
delicate craft of stone inlay originated in Renaissance Italy.
Today, we have re-created the skills and practices of the Renaissance,
and have combined them with state–of-the-art
design.
We draw on a huge variety of stone – from semi-precious stones
such as amethyst, lapis lazuli, malachite, turquoise – to
a range of less known exotic stones – and we can achieve
an infinity of subtle effects. A customer recently commissioned
a large stone floor panel in the form of a rose. She was adamant
that she wanted something that would look like a real rose – with
the delicacy and grace of a living flower. It took us seven prototypes
before we were happy with the result – and the result was
breathtaking.
